Isaiah 42:1 “Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.”
Matthew 12:17,18 “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.”
The Lord Jesus Christ is the promised Servant of our Lord God. He is our Lord, He is our master, and He must be our example.
John 13:15 “For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.”
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord of Lords but He is the Lord of servants! He has called us and sent us to be servants! One of the best ways to glorify our Lord at this time of year is to please Him. How can we be Christians that please our Heavenly Father?
Be like His servant, our Lord and Master, Jesus Christ! I invite you to joins us at this time of year, not only in giving, but also in serving others!
