Dr. Ben Sinclair – BWM Executive Director
Dr. Ben Sinclair
Ben Sinclair was born in Northwest Indiana. He was born again at the age of twelve during a week of revival meetings. Brother Sinclair was called to preach the next year and immediately began serving the Lord and preaching in high school. He attended Bible college and surrendered to be a missionary while serving as a summer counselor at a Christian camp.
Brother Sinclair married Rebecca Sykes. God has blessed them with four amazing children – one in high school and three in Bible College. Ben and Becca were appointed with Baptist World Mission in 2001 to serve the Lord in Cameroon, Africa. Over the following two decades, God used the Sinclairs to plant several churches, establish the Faith Baptist Bible College of Bamenda, and participate in training several nationals who have been instrumental in establishing dozens of churches in West Africa. In April of 2023, Brother Sinclair became the Executive Director of Baptist World Mission.
Dr. Sinclair has earned three graduate degrees, including a Doctor of Ministry from Pensacola Theological Seminary. He loves challenging local churches with their responsibility to obey the Great Commission and educating believers on ways they can better partner with their missionaries. Dr. Sinclair has produced several Gospel tracts, writes regularly for The Messenger of Baptist World Mission, and has published four books, including Missionary Partnership.
