Dr. Kevin Brosnan

Education – B.A., M.A., M.Div., D.Min. (first three at MBBC; doctorate from BJU)

Year service began with BWM – 1995

Family: Kevin and Tamara were married in 1983 and have four adult children.

Testimony:  I trusted Christ as my Savior at the age of eight, after hearing the Gospel in a children’s class when my family visited a Baptist church one Sunday morning. Although I was too shy to respond, the truth I heard troubled me every day that week. Thankfully, we attended the same church the following Sunday, and that is when I allowed a children’s worker to take me aside and help me pray to receive Christ as my Savior.

Service: The opportunities for ministry in Africa helped prepare Tamara and I for our current ministry to missionaries. We emphasized a team approach to church planting and promoted African missions through our 20/200 Vision. We sought to establish churches through a mother-church ministry, Bible institute training, surveying new fields and recruiting new missionaries. Our mother church aided in the establishment of numerous other works and is now fully indigenous. This church sent seven of its own members for full-time training for the ministry during our last year of ministry there. Most of these men are now ordained preachers in Africa. Seven American families responded to the 20/200 vision and are now serving in Africa as full-time missionaries. The Bible college graduated many nationals, who are currently involved in fruitful African ministries, and some have also established indigenous churches.

The Promise of His Presence

  • Listen

The great commission is the launching point of the text of II Timothy 4. "Lo, I am with you always" from the great commission grabs most believers who find themselves in missionary service.
