Our vision is to see self-sustaining, nationally-pastored churches throughout the Australian Outback. The majority of towns in the Outback have no active church of any kind, not to mention Bible-believing Baptist churches. In addition to bringing the gospel to these unreached areas, we are looking to develop the few churches that have been started while continuing to push into more towns throughout the Australian Outback and anywhere else that God might direct us.
Australia is a unique country which consists of the entire Australian continent and the southern island of Tasmania. As the sixth largest country in land mass, it is only slightly smaller than the United States and the Outback makes up 70% of the landscape. With a population of about 25 million, the larger part making their home in the major cities, yet countless isolated communities are scattered throughout the Outback. On the beautiful east coast of Australia, the territory of Queensland has an estimated population of 5 million people with the majority claiming either Catholicism or no religious affiliations.
