We are church planting in Nagoya, Japan. Nagoya is the 4th largest city in Japan with a population of about 3 million. Less than 1% of Japanese are estimated to be Christian (includes Catholics, Mormons, etc.).

The Japanese are still a very traditional people in many ways. Though technologically advanced, many prefer traditional style houses (straw mat floor, no central heat/air, sitting on the floor to relax or eat, etc.). Many of their customs and traditions date back many hundreds of years.
